Beauty Box | Cohorted September Review

Cohorted box

Cohorted beauty boxes are new on the scene, and is a box that many beauty bloggers are coveting over. The beauty box is an elite box that contains a selection of hand picked premium brands, to add to the luxury theme of the box. An all black sleek box, with a touch of personalisation being in the form of a hand tied ribbon bow tie – the beauty box oozes elegance. Each month being sold out, and not currently a subscription box, everyone needs to get in there quick if they want to get their paws on the beauty box.

I finally managed to get my hands on the September beauty box. The page itself crashed as there were several others trying to get their hands on the box too. So after months of trying to get a Cohorted Beauty Box, here I present, the Cohorted September Review. The beauty box this month costs £19.99 and boasts a box value of £71.50. View Post

Bloggers Hangout | BLFW Event

The bloggers hangout

Last week, on Monday., I was invited to attend one of the BLFW (Bloggers Love Fashion Week) events at the Oxo Tower, London – an event organised by The Bloggers Hangout. The Bloggers Hangout is a community for us like -minded bloggers, who organise events, gifting, and a place to talk all things blogging. The event itself coincided with London Fashion Week, with The Bloggers Hangout’s very own touch to fashion week itself. This was my first event that I had attended which was organised by The Bloggers Hangout, and although I had been a member of the community since I first started blogging, I had never signed up to attend any of the events before. This was never due to the events appealing to me, more so, I didn’t have as much free time as I do now.

The location of the BLFW event fit the vibe of London Fashion Week perfectly – the Oxo Tower is situated prominently on the south bank of the River Thames, and as I attended the Evening session, it made it all the more better to get snapping away with my camera at the view. View Post

Instanatural| Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C Serum

Have you ever wanted to replenish your skin and have your skin radiantly glowing without having to use chemicals? Instanatural Vitamin C Serum* uses 100% natural ingredients which are incorporated into this beautifully scented serum, which promises smooth and hydrated skin. When you have ingredients such as argan oil and grapefruit oils, who wouldn’t want to use the serum over chemicals advertised in many health shops.

I have fairly sensitive skin, and know of the struggles us ladies can have when trying to find a product that doesn’t cause us to break out or have a reaction when using it. I’ve personally found that it is always more beneficial for you, and your skin, to opt for a product that is natural and does have fruit oils in it. View Post

Time To Relax | The Kneader Review

Kneader

Anyone who has been following me on Twitter knows that I am big on going to the gym at the moment; I am loving mixing it up with cardio and weights. Although the daily exercise is amazing for my health, it’s also taking a toll on my muscles. Giving your body time to relax and recover is essential for recovery, however, pushing your muscles and body along and giving it an extra hand never hurt anyone either.

The Kneader* has recently been introduced into the market as the new essential product for those of us who want to relax our muscles, but don’t necessarily have the time, or budget, to head down to the spa every so often for a massage. The Kneader comes with a great instructional manual and DVD to help build up your style and technique, so you don’t need to be a fully trained masseuse to use this product and get the most out of your massage.  View Post

TLOV| Bloggersfestival 2015

Bloggers festival

The Bloggersfestival was trending on Twitter for the week building up to the event, so if you haven’t heard of the Bloggersfestival, where exactly have you been? On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Bloggersfestival, which was organised by the lovely Scarlett.

This was actually my first event as a blogger, ever, and it was only natural for me to feel a mixed bag of emotions – from nervous, anxious but all in all, I was excited! I had heard SO many positive comments about events that Scarlett had previously held, and from reading reviews and thoughts from other bloggers on 2014’s Bloggersfestival I had to get my RSVP in quickly.

Prior to making my way to the Bloggersfestival, which was held at the oh-so-glam Conrad London St James hotel, Jasmine and Kirsty from Soeurs de Luxe had planned a bloggers lunch at Pizza Express Victoria Street to meet new bloggers, and help blog event virgins (like myself) not feel so nervous! For anyone who is planning to go to their first event, I would thoroughly recommend trying to join a pre-meetup like a lunch as it not only helps settle any nerves, but you can also get to know other bloggers in a more relaxed environment. And besides, what’s a better way to feel relaxed than going out for a lunch? – bring on the dough-balls! Warning, this post is going to be VERY pic heavy. View Post
