Health | Stay Healthy The Lazy Way

Stay healthy the lazy way

Being healthy is something that should really come naturally to us, but with hundreds of fast food chains open at our convenience sometimes it’s a bit difficult to stay on the wagon. Considering it’s not only fast food chains that are opening, there also seems to have been an influx in waffle and pancake houses. Our everyday lives also seem to have taken over our schedules, with many of us working longer hours, and using excuse after excuse not to go to the gym. Quick snacks and energy drinks have seem a shot incline in sales, with a number of us grabbing snack bars as opposed to some chopped fruit. For those of you that do have a hard time juggling things, here’s a quick fire list of how you can stay healthy the lazy way. View Post

Birchbox | October Review

Birchbox october

Birchbox seem to be the most versatile beauty box out there at the moment. Often they offer subscribers the choice as to what they want in their box, and also the type of box that subscribers want. This month, for October they have offered subscribers either the choice to have a “Back to Basics” box, or a box from the Stylist Editor. For my Birchbox October Review I really wanted to receive and review the Stylist box, however, for some reason, I received the Back to Basics box. Which honestly, I was a bit confused about as I put through my box request as soon as the options came out – even obtaining a confirmation email of my request.

Saying that, I did really enjoy using the samples within the Back To Basics box, and actually am happy that there was a mix-up after-all. The box was made to reset, refresh and refuel beauty regimes just in time for Christmas and New Years parties. View Post

Travel | Morocco Medina Gardens Review

Medina Gardens

Everyone knows what the weather can be like in the UK, let alone in the build up to the winter months. Now that we are full-on in Autumn, I really wanted to take a short break, catch some rays and get any sort of winter sun that I could. My aim for my holiday was just to take a week, or so, and relax. What better way to relax than to head to Morocco – a popular choice to get some Winter Sun. Morocco is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, but it was a country that I had reserved for the Winter, and for a mini week break. It’s a country full of culture and history, as well as hitting an average of 37 degrees in Winter months, it’s also a fantastic destination to simply lounge out on a sun-bed near the pool (whilst sipping on a pina-colada of course). So here it is, my Medina Gardens review, a hotel guaranteed to make you feel as though you don’t want to leave.  View Post

Fitness | How To Stay Motivated To Work Out

Workout tips

I am guilty of falling off the wagon when it comes to having fitness goals and making myself go to the gym. Admittedly, my gym is literally across the road from where I live, so you would really think that I have no excuse whatsoever not to go. Gosh, is that wrong. Recently, I’ve had little to no motivation to make myself head to the gym, regardless of whether I have an impending wedding (less than a year to go!!). Even the need to look my best for my wedding day is not enough to motivate me, choosing to watch The Great British Bake Off instead of getting my sweat on.

If you’re anything like me, here are a few tips on How To Stay Motivated To Work Out – get yourself motivated by putting your gym kit on and getting down to the gym – or better yet, going for a run or some fresh air. View Post
