Wedding 101 – The Wedding Planning Timeline Phase 1

Over the past two years, I have shared with you the ins and outs of my wedding planning, even giving you a sneak peak through my wedding update. With just under 4 months to go until my magical day, I cannot believe how quickly time has flown, I am still finding that there is so much to do for my own wedding.

Whenever I mention this to my other half I always get a weird and baffled look. Here I am with list after list of things to do, and very little has been assigned to my other half. It can be difficult for us brides to be though, with the stress and pressure of impending nuptials, I’m certainly starting to feel the intricacy of making sure everything is just perfect.

For all you brides to be though, or those that are just interested, I will be starting a new series on The Life Of Vanisha – we can call it Wedding Planning 101 Phase 1 (Engaged-12 months before the big day). A comprehensive guide for all things wedding, and getting you through the bride-to-be to happy bride process as stress free as possible.

I’ve been trying out a few new shampoos recently, and after using the L’oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay hair care range recently, I wanted to give the Garnier Ultimate Blends a trial. I’ve always been a firm believer of changing up my shampoo and conditioner routine and products every so often. I myself can’t use the same product over and over again, especially as there are so many new and great products that are being released. To me, why should my hair have to have the same routine time after time?

Now, the minstrels in the picture aside – don’t they just draw your eye into the picture?, I’ve seen the Garnier Ultimate Blends range pop up everywhere. There are so many different mixtures of flavours and scents within the hair care range that I found it difficult to narrow it down to just one scent at a time. Admittedly, I rarely use Garnier products on my hair – I’ve always been a L’oreal or Aussie shampoo kind of girl, though, from browsing the full product range I certainly welcomed the chance to try something different.

On Monday I was invited to another event held by The Bloggers Hangout – The Bloggers Tea Party. Ever the foodie I am, I was excited to have received my invite to discover new food brands and snacks that were on the market, with their own selective niche. And who doesn’t love a good tea party? The intimate event was held at The Pop Up Patio in Moorgate, where a select number of brands showcased snacks and drinks for sampling.

The brands involved in The Bloggers Tea Party were primarily those that can be found in health food stores such as Whole Foods and Planet Organic  As there is such a focus on being health conscious in modern day, especially for me with starting a new health kick and trying to cut out certain types of foods.
