I’ve previously tried Lush face masks, and have been thoroughly impressed by the feeling and effects it has had on my skin. This time round I decided to go for the Lush Don’t Look At Me face mask – a gorgeous, zingy, bright blue rejuvenating face mask.
The Lush Don’t Look At Me face mask is a thick rich texture, which, like the other Lush face masks has an exfoliating effect to it when rubbed against the skin. As with other Lush face masks, a little goes a long way with Don’t Look At Me, so a generous layer of the mask on your face leaves enough for another 4 uses.
Don’t Look At Me has elements of lemon juice within it, which can help even out your skin tone especially when you have pigmentation. I’ve found that this is perfect for Asian skin, as we tend to suffer from uneven skin tones and undertones. The lemon juice in the mask also leaves a refreshing feel on the face, once it’s washed off after 15 minutes.
The Lush Don’t Look At Me face mask incorporates Organic Silken Tofu, which if I’m honest, I hadn’t actually heard of as an ingredient before. After speaking with the team at Lush, before purchasing, the silken tofu is similar to the tofu we may tend to eat. By adding it into the face mask, it adds in vitamins and moisturising effects to improve the overall look of your skin.
Grapefruit oil helps to brighten the skin on your face as the lasting after effect once the mask has been massaged off. By keeping this mask on for the recommended 15 minutes, it can also help reduce stress from the scents and the feel on the skin.
Although the mask makes you look as though you are a smurf (due to the bright blue colour!) it’s a great mask for those who have sensitive skin, and are looking for a glowing after effect.
The Lush Don’t Look At Me face mask can be purchased for £6.75.
