Going to the gym and keeping fit is something that is so important to me. However, keeping motivated cannot always be easy. I’ve always found that buying new gym clothes helps keep that motivation going, as it gives you just that extra reason to get yourself working out.
There are so many high street stores that have started bringing out there own lines of affordable gym wear. Gone are the days that I head just to Primark to go and buy my gym wardrobe. The likes of H&M, New Look and even Zara have all bought out there own gym clothes line.
Here’s a great little gym clothes wishlist to help keep you motivated in the run up to Christmas. After all, there are only about 10 weeks until Christmas!
ADIDAS ESSENTIALS MID 3-S RRP £18 For workouts, whether it be in the Winter or Summer you need something cool to wear, that allows you to breathe. The last thing you want are leggings that are not breathable – or stretchy, but you also want leggings that show off your hard work, in the right places. Adidas leggings are so perfect for workouts, they may be market leader but they are great at what they create. I always prefer to wear black when I’m working out – as they say, it’s a funeral for getting rid of fat.
NIKE ELEVATE STRETCH TANK RRP £35 Although you’re mixing brands here, the Nike tank top would go perfect with the Adidas leggings above. I don’t tend to wear a same brand outfit at the gym, at the end of the day, although I like buying a new wardrobe, I also wear clothes I’m comfortable in. That’s why if I’m wearing leggings that are fitted, I’d always want to wear a top that is loose fitting.
The Nike tank is loose fitting so there’ll be no restrictions when running, doing burpees or taking that gruelling Body Pump class. It’s also a racer-back tank top, with Nike’s slogan “Just Do It” woven in.
BLACK FOIL STRONGER BAR TANK RRP £8.99 There’s always this stigma that if us ladies lift, we’ll either become muscly or like a bodybuilder. This is not true at all! This tank top just embraces that we should look to be strong not skinny. Such a perfect top for when you want to lift bars.
BLACK CONTRAST DD+ SPORTS BRA RRP £7.00 Sports bra’s have always been a problem for me – #bigboobedgirlproblems! I’m surprised New Look actually do sports bras for us big boobed girls, as there bra ranges don’t really accommodate. I love the mesh look on this Sports Bra, along with the girly edging in pink.
HANNAH FIT RUNNING HOOD RRP £12.00 As it’s coming up to Winter, working out either outside or in the gym is slightly different as it’s much colder. If you enjoy working outside, this running hoodie is a great addition to your wardrobe. Not only is it affordable, but it’ quilted so it will keep you warm during the workouts.
EMILY MESH LEGGINGS RRP £10.00 Everyone has seen these mesh panel leggings over instagram. There are so many brands who have bought out there own style of mesh panel leggings, but I have always had my eye on the leggings by Boohoo. They are not only affordable but they look just as good as the premium branded leggings.
EMMA DANCE TIE LEGGING RRP £12.00 These are a new style of legging that are similar to the mesh panel legging. Dance leggings have proved popular for working out since Pineapple Dance studios have become popular with their workout clothing.
