I always love popping into perfume shops and seeing what new scents have hit the season. I especially love admiring perfume bottles from different designers I’m someone who is a complete sucker for a beautifully shaped perfume bottle. Just take the Marc Jacobs perfumes, for example, they look absolutely stunning – especially dot, which is an adorable little bottle representing a lady bird.
Guilty by Gucci, women’s fragrance, certainly doesn’t let down when it comes to a stunning, yet glamorous perfume bottle. With sharp gold casing, and the atypical Gucci branding etched into the perfume bottle it is essentially a perfect gift for yourself, or for that glam somebody in your life.
Gucci have tried to interpret a vision of seduction with a hint of femininity through its Guilty by Gucci perfume. There are hues of mandarin and peach within the perfume, and the prime notes leave a very oriental scent to the perfume. It isn’t really an overpowering perfume, however, it leaves enough of a fragrance to compliment your daily look. The only downside with this perfume is that the scent only lasts a few hours – you will need a top up every 3 hours of so. Given this, however, the floral-oriental scent is a great portrayal of an independent woman, who knows what she wants in life.
I love how Gucci have really incorporated their branding into the polished gold bottle. There are two interlocking “Gs” within the middle of the bottle, to give it a feminine, girl boss kind of look to it. It has elements of both glass and metal within the fragrance bottle, and is given a very clean look through the sophisticate gold colour. It reminds me very much of the Paco Rabbane 1 Million and Lady Million perfume.
Between the interlocking “Gs” you can see exactly how much of the perfume you have left, which is a peeve for me when perfume bottles don’t allow you to do so.
The word guilty is embossed within the perfume through it’s beautiful and sultry smell. A very sleek designed perfume bottle, that can be slipped into your handbag or placed as a centrepiece item on your dressing table.
