As I was browsing Facebook recently, I came across a number of ads promoting Kate Hudson’s new sportswear brand, Fabletics .
The concept behind Fabletics is that you have your own personal stylist for gym wear. So basically you sign up to the website, answer a few questions about your style, like the type of workout you do, whether it be yoga, gym or an at home workout, and from that you have a selection of outfits put together.
Once the outfits are put together for you, all perfectly matching and ready to motivate you to go to the gym, you can then customize by colour to suit your personal style.
The thing I love about the website and the brand, is that you can purchase the whole outfit as a whole. So you already have matched items together, instead of having to buy them individually – which, you also have the ability to do! Also, the clothes are super cute and make gym wear look fun and fashionable.
I’ve been meaning to buy some new gym wear for a long time now, and it isn’t really something I like to spend a lot of money on. Because really, buying clothes to just workout and get all sweaty in, it’s not exactly what I would call a wardrobe investment. So when I saw the flashing adds for Fabletics offering 50% off my first outfit, I couldn’t exactly argue with that, could I?
On answering the questions about myself and my body type, I was given a large selection of outfits to chose from. I settled for this perfect little outfit as above I do tend to wear darker colours at the gym, hence why I thought this outfit was perfect for me.
This was a three piece outfit comprising of a sports bra, fitted cropped leggings and a fitted top. Now, usually with some gym wear companies, I’m a bit cautious with what I buy online. I like to have a feel of the material, how well it stretches, how absorbent it is, so I was a bit conscious of ordering something online. Delivery took approximately 3 days, and I was not at all disappointed by the quality of the material.
The outfits are super absorbent and pretty fitted. By fitted I don’t mean that you need to order one size up. I ordered to my usual size and it fit perfectly, allowing enough breathing room for me to properly workout. With some gym clothes they are so thick that it feels like a struggle to get onto the treadmill and give it your all!
If you’re like me and having the endless struggle of finding a sports bra that fits, then you don’t need to worry about the outfits not fitting. If you order true to size, then the outfit will fit perfectly.
All in all, I will definitely be ordering another outfit again, as not only is it value for money, but who doesn’t get motivated by having a new outfit for the gym?
