Wedding Diaries | Let’s talk venues Part 1 #2

I am literally so excited! Our wedding has finally been booked! Trust me when I say this, it has taken us forever to find the perfect venue, and it’s one of the most important decisions you will need to make (after finding a special date of course). A few of the venues that we have looked at had initially fit our requirements, but when it comes down to meeting a sales manager, they only really tell you what you want to hear. Most of the time it’s false promises, unfortunately. Looking back now at all the places we did view, there was so many elements missing from the venues. My one bit of vital advice, for when you are picking a Wedding venue, is to really look around, do your research, and always read the small print (cliche I know)! Click N Curl | My Hair Nightmare

For as long as I have known, I have struggled to get my hair to have any sort of volume to it. I’ve endlessly flicked through magazines at celebrities and models with gorgeous bouncy curls, and hair that was so full of volume. All in all, my hair stays straight. Plain, standard, straight. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with having naturally straight hair, if that’s the look you want. But me, I’ve always experimented with my hair and tried out new hairstyles. More so, next year. Yes – I know what you may be thinking, isn’t it way too early to be planning the wedding? Maybe, for some traditions. But when you are talking about two Hindu families being bought together, and all the festivities that take place for our special day, some would say a year is leaving it too late! Knowingly, there a lot of Asian couples start planning almost two years in advance for their big day. So I like to think I’m being some-what laid back about our plans. And certainly avoiding the curse of becoming a bridezilla! In the first edition: to Indian wedding or not.

Sweaty Betty| For When We Need Support

Following my recent rant about the struggles I have with my weight, I decided to expand my workout wardrobe as it was getting to a point where I was wearing the same clothes over and over. Fair enough workout clothes are literally made to just work out in, and obviously when we work out we sweat, but it’s been said, lately, that you can use your clothing as a motivator to get your butt to the gym. If you’re like me, and forever having problems keeping things (and by things I mean boobies!) in place then Sweaty Betty is your answer.

Bohem| Nail Jewellery

The way we do our nails has changed so much over the years. I for one can remember being a teenager and being in awe with the different options that were available in nail salons. Of course, it is nothing compared to what we have on offer to us now. From the good ol’ acrylic nails, to gel, shellac, and now Bohem Nails*  have introduced nail jewellery as an enhancement to your natural nail. By adding a 925 sterling silver nail piece to your natural nail, it is used to accentuate the nails for that ever so sought for glam .
